Hi, my name is Dennis and I’m 27 years old. I’ve been a member for 2 years now, going into my third year. I graduated last spring as a primary school teacher and this year I work as a teacher in 5th grade. The next 1,5 year I’m going to do a master’s degree to become a gym teacher. Because I can’t leave the student life behind me, I want to have some new experiences and do something good with my time, I’ll be on the board this year, fulfilling the role of Assessor.

Two years ago I joined the association and was a member of the party committee. During my study I was also a member of the party committee for three years and organized a lot of legendary parties in Utrecht, which was one of the reasons that I wanted to do this at Anteros as well. Halfway through my first year, I was a member of the elective committee, which was a new committee that has the task to choose a new board. At the end of my first year, I set up a new dispuut with two previous Assessors called Dionysos. I fulfilled my role as Fiscus of Dionysos with great pleasure and I have gained some board skills by doing that. Noortje and Nanet told me some things about how to be a board member and specifically as Assessor. In the summer of 2018, I was going to Curaçao for my internship and had to leave Anteros for four months. Once I was back, I still had the motivation to be a board member! One of my motivations was that I want to be part of the Lustrum board and it was now or never…

My task as a board member are to take pictures, manage the website, do the promotion of Anteros and manage our social media. The committees that I’ll be overviewing this year will be the lustrum committee, the introduction committee of 2019 and the yearbook committee. I’ll also be part of the UIT committee of 2020.

I have a lot of motivation to make this an awesome lustrum year with my other board members. We all have a lot of ideas, enthusiasm and a lot of motivation! If you think: “Who’s that boy with the camera and why is he taking pictures?” then you now know, that it’s me! I promise you that I’ll bring Anteros more fame than it already has! I love fun, parties, Netflix, cooking and of course taking pictures, but especially this year, I like Anteros the most! I hope to see you soon at one of our activities, drinks or parties so I can take a picture of you with my camera.

This year new and interesting things will be happening, which I like as the Assessor. So keep an eye out on our website, Facebook en Instagran for new posts!

eXplosive and imposant regards,

Dennis van der Ent Braat

h.t. Assessor der U.H.S.V. Anteros
